Parental guidance is strongly advised for my Halloween night selects, which are the cinematic equivalent of a worm in your candy apple! These freaky flicks feature parents and/or children fighting for their lives against bad seeds (Orphan, It’s Alive), sinister strangers (Us, Halloween III: Season of the Witch), generational trauma (Psycho, Frailty, The Brood) or, you know, evil forces outside of their control (Seed of Chucky, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Sinister, The Faculty). The movies get darker as the night goes on, so tune if you dare!
