Julian Taylor has been playing music in Canada for the last 20 years. The Mohawk/ West Indies troubadour has had record deals, written incredible music, led the Staggered Crossing and the Julian Taylor Band and worked hard. In 2020 he released a personal record as Julian Taylor called "The Ridge". So far that record has won a Canadian Folk Award for Best Solo performance and been nominated for two Juno Awards. We talk with Julian about his heritage, his struggle, success and how to follow up.
