The Firemen’s Ball

The Firemen’s Ball

Both a sparkling comedy and a provocative political satire, this is the story of the usually dull annual firemen’s ball in a small Czech town where the organizers try to liven things up with disastrous results. The film was at one time "banned forever" in by the Czech Communist authorities but it is now regarded as one of the country’s greatest films.
