After the tragic death of her child, Leona escapes to Jamaica to mourn. There, she meets Clara who helps her out of her depression. Leona brings Clara back to Baltimore to help look after her son David. With Clara’s close bond to David growing, she is able to not only help the boy come out of his shell, but she also gains the courage to confront her troubled past.
