Directed by Ron Mann, the documentary centres on Carmine Street Guitars, a long-running guitar store in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City. Custom guitar maker, Rick Kelly builds handcrafted guitars out of reclaimed wood from old hotels, bars, churches and other local buildings. These unique guitars are embraced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Jim Jarmusch and Patti Smith to name a few. The documentary captures five days in the life of Carmine Street Guitars.
