How Wayne's World Sent Bohemian Rhapsody Back to the Top of the Charts

Director Penelope Spheeris and Producer Lorne Michaels wanted a Guns N’ Roses track for the iconic headbanging scene in Wayne’s World, but Mike Myers insisted on Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The film’s success sent the classic rock hit all the way to number 2 on the singles chart 17 years after its original release.
